The topic of pregnancy
and relationships is a highly researched and complex area. It has been
identified as one of the most critical issues confronting the modern couples in
today's society. The topic of relationships and pregnancy is a very important
focus for numerous sociological, psychological and scientific research areas.
It is an important arena that is explored in numerous seminars, discussions,
and writings. This article will address some of the themes surrounding the
topic of pregnancy and relationships in Iran.
The evolution of women
into mothers changed the role of men in society, and now, even in traditional
societies such as Iran, the role of men and women is changing dramatically.
This research aims to explore the changing perspective of pregnant women's
lives in the social context of Iran. The study focused on the opinions and
feelings of women in various cities across the country regarding their
relationships and pregnancy. The results show that a large percentage of
Iranian women are having casual sex, that there is pressure on them to behave
in a certain way, and that their sexual encounters are not discussed openly by
their husbands or in their families.
The Iranian government
is aware that the social aspects of pregnancy can have negative consequences in
the future. Pregnant women have the right to access adequate information about
pregnancy and to take necessary medical precautions. Iranian law stipulates a
wide range of rights for women during pregnancy and lactation, to protect their
physical and mental health. According to the law, women are allowed to receive
proper medical treatment, whether they are pregnant or not. The main goal of
medical interventions during pregnancy is to prevent birth defects.
Forced Treatment:
During pregnancy, forced treatment of women is common practice, especially
during the time of delivery. Women who fear unwanted procedures may be
pressured to undergo medical intervention in their personal capacity. According
to the report, a majority of those interviewed feared undergoing an
intervention because they were scared of the social stigma attached to it.
Others were afraid that the intervention would hurt their child and prevent the
birth of their future child. Although there are many reasons why a woman may be
afraid to seek medical assistance, she still has the right to do so under the
law.
According to the
Iranian constitution and laws, forced treatment of a woman is forbidden.
Furthermore, a number of social and religious organizations in Iran support the
rights of pregnant women. The main religious organizations that have a strong
influence on the lives of ordinary citizens believe in the sanctity of life.
According to these groups, forced medical interventions should be avoided at
all times. Some even go as far as saying that medical treatments done in the
name of preventing the birth of a child are conducted in an unethical manner.
Forced medical
interventions are characterized by physical force, excessive medication and
excessive invasive measures. It should be noted that a pregnant women's body
goes through a lot of changes during her first trimester. Forcing a pregnant
women to start showing signs of fatigue, nausea or drowsiness may not be the
best way to help her. Instead of going against her will, it would be better if
a health professional can suggest the best way to approach this issue. A
pregnant woman has the right to be as comfortable as she wants to be and to
start showing signs of pregnancy at any point in her second trimester.
